Racism and ageism in the workplace

In these difficult days, it is easy to forget that “normal” employment rules continue in full force such as the prohibition upon discrimination on any of the grounds set out in the Equality Act 2010.  An important reminder to employers of the danger of making a costly error is set out in the recently reported case of Anne Giwi-Amu and the Department for Work and Pensions.
